72 Hour House Weekend Event

The Wesley First Nation and Timko Developments Ltd. participated in a monumental event held on the Stoney Nakoda Nation Reserve, near Morley, Alberta.

We built a 1,200 sq. ft. fully developed main floor home in 72 hours. The foundation was in and we were ready to start on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 6 p.m.

This event was to demonstrate the cooperation between the Wesley First Nations and Timko Developments Ltd. in providing First Nation Peoples much needed housing.

Timko, their sub-trades and friends provided everything from general support, i.e. hauling water and cooking meals to mobile crane operators, portable outhouses, temporary lighting, to all building materials, cabinets and light fixtures.

The house was provided at no cost to the owners as many people pitched in with cash, labour and support to make this a very special occasion in the history of Timko Developments Ltd.

We Thank everyone who participated.
